Two Problems, One Flip
Both panels sit on the same mount. Flip down whichever one the drive calls for, and fold the other out of the way.
Low sun on the drive home
A sun sitting right on the horizon is the one your car's own visor can't help with — it's either too high to block it, or low enough that it takes the road with it. The smoke panel drops into exactly that gap.
Headlights on the way back
Modern LED beams are far harsher than the halogens most roads were built around. The amber panel takes the intensity out of them without darkening the road, the signs or the brake lights ahead.
Same road. Same headlights.

Real photos, same stretch of road, taken seconds apart.
Three seconds of dazzle is 83 metres of road you never saw.
SECOND AT 100KM/H
A BRIGHT DAZZLE
MEMORY ALONE
At 100km/h you cover roughly 28 metres every second, and recovering from a bright headlight dazzle can take several seconds — longer as we get older. That's most of a football field travelled without a clear view of the road.
FAQ
Why are headlights suddenly so bright?
Most new cars now use LED headlights instead of the old halogen bulbs — they're whiter, cooler-toned, and much more intense, which is part of why they feel so much harsher to oncoming drivers. Add in taller SUVs and utes sitting higher on the road, and headlights end up shining more directly at eye level than they used to.
Will it block too much light at night?
No — it's designed to cut the harsh glare from bright and LED headlights, not your overall visibility. The road, signs, and other cars stay clearly visible; it's the sharp, dazzling flare that gets reduced.
Is this actually backed by research, or just marketing?
Headlight glare is a real, growing problem — surveys have found the vast majority of drivers feel distracted by oncoming glare, and over half say they've cut back on night driving because of how bright modern headlights are. GlareShield was designed specifically to help with that.
Will it fit my car?
It clips directly onto your existing sun visor and is designed to fit standard visors across most makes and models. Flip it down when you need it, flip it back up when you don't.
How long will shipping take?
*Shipping times may be slightly longer during busy sale periods.
What if I'm not happy with my order?

Can I actually reach a real person if I need help?

100% Australian Owned
GlareShield started with a problem we couldn't stop noticing: driving home at night, the headlights coming the other way had gone from bright to blinding. We're a family-run business based in Brisbane that sells one product rather than ten thousand — and there's one clipped to the visor in our own car.
Our goal is simple: help Australians get home at night without driving through someone else's high beams.
